Matthew Kasper

My name is Matthew Kaspar and I am currently a graduate student getting my master's in Geosciences. I was born and grew up here in Wichita Falls Texas. I Graduated with my B.S. degree in Geosciences in the spring of 2023.

I'm interested in groundwater hydrology, groundwater management, and the effects of climate change on our water resources. Currently, I am working on a project mapping a section of Natural Bridge Caverns near San Antonio Texas using LiDAR with Dr. Kashif Mahmud. This will be used to understand the heterogeneous hydrogeology properties of the local karst formation and estimate the water infiltration from the surface to the cavern ceiling.

My hobbies include drawing, music, and video games. I also enjoy playing and DM-ing Dungeons and Dragons, as well as watching other campaigns that are being streamed or uploaded. Feel free to contact me via Email.
